The Dance

The Dance

Part 1

It starts long before the sheets
Are pulled back on the bed
Before the clothes get balled up
And thrown across the floor and
Are so hard to find again to put
Back on.
It starts with that first glance.
That first moment together when both of you
Sneak a quick glance and stare into
Each others eyes.
You try and look away, but your eyes do
Not move. That shy smile comes across
Your face. And then, not wanting too
Your eyes dart away, as if becoming unfrozen
You try again and again to recreate
That first moment when your eyes first meet.
That look of innocence.
But now it is so obvious. The innocence
Of that first glance gone.
Now with each look,
Desires, passions, lusts,
Slowly building with each look.
Until that first move is made
And you are face to face.
That voice in the back of your mind
Saying
What are you doing?
Followed by that other voice you know all to well
You know you want to do this. You need this.

 The title fits the way we meet....but you forget about the heart racing....the shivering from the glance....maybe you should call our meeting the tango of the moment....looking forward to the next part...will you tell you the parting....the longing ....the desire to briefly touch lips....justing thinking of about it...makes me excited....wanting and longing for more...
