More questions from my cluttered mind. Do you smoke? Well do you? In browsing profiles I see thee "l am a lite social smoker". What exactly does that term mean? So you smoke when you drink? In a bar? For me it is a deal breaker, as I will never again date a woman who is a smoker. Now I know there are courteous smokers who will not smoke around anyone, or when visiting others; or in their own homes or cars. Just don't understand why people smoke; especially the one's that have loved someone, or people that they cared about become sick or have died from smoking. In Chicago, and surrounding areas; smoking is being baned in public areas, which has the bars and restaurants in an up roar. Personally, if I like a restaurant, and the food is good, I'll have to deal with it. I really don't care if you smoke, it is your right, but not in my house, car, or in a public place where I am eating and drinking. Go out side. Nope - I personally have NO bad habits at all !!!  I have to admit that it looks awful to see a whole group of smokers huddled up and puffing away and then see a pavement full of ciggy butts - it's disgusting. I love to be able to go out here in the UK now and not come home smelling like an ashtray. Better still, I can lay in bed and BREATHE after a night out now too !  Mistress Innuendo Taking what you say and turning it into something naughty !!

I'm one of "those" people.  I do not smoke in my house or car. I do not throw my butts on the ground. All in all, I try to be courteous (ie. I will not stand right outside the doors of an establishment making non-smokers walk through my evil cloud). As for the why? I've been a smoker for 24 years and have tried several times to quit but, thus far, the monkey has been stronger than me. The "social smoker" vs. the "heavy smoker"... I put down "social smoker" because when I think "heavy smoker" it's someone who has to have one in their hands all the time and, quite frankly, the smell of one who smokes indoors bothers me.
