I know how that is. Have bad dry skin myself on my hands. Even in ciool weather.Sometimes so bad it gets cracked. I have a prescription I use as needed.

Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

I use E45 spray on my feet. I've never tried your way though

chatgal, i have done the bag too. not a very sexy look but for the 10-15m (with bagged feet) the results (smooth heels) are pretty damn good.
and i, for one, am on my feet so long every day that a good pampering is necessary. and when you don't have time to go for the full pedicure, the at-home ain't bad.

i said it before, chatgal, you are my hero. no shame in your game.
you're

So now you're a bag lady.

I used to bag my feet in winter. My feet used to sweat like hell even in cold weather. On a mountain climbing site I learned that climbers with my problem would wear a lightweight liner, wrap that in a bag or saran wrap, and then use a wool sock over it all. The bag keeps the wool dry and the feet warm. It takes some getting used to- your feet feel wet, because they are. But you stay warm.

What you're doing works for dry and cracked hands in winter too.

Well, now I have seen even more,,,not every thing yet,,,book is wide open...what ever works. I use to wear bandages, covering hand cream, to solve my cracked fingers during the winter time...until a fellow suggested I seal the cracks with super glue...it worked but I also kept hand cream handy for many applications during the day.
For cracked feet I might get a foot bath and poor quite a few bottles of, not expensive, skin cream in it to soak my feet. When not in use I would cover the foot bath so the cream does not dry out.
Best wishes for your success with the cracked heels.
