Tattoos and Piercings I just wanted to see what everyone thinks about having tattoos or piercings. Some think that if a woman has either of these she is a or slut and nasty. Others say it is a turn on. What tattoos and piercings are acceptable and what kind do you like or dislike? I have some of both and just recently got some piercings. I feel it is my body my choice..... |

for me it doesnt matter.like you said its your body.there is more to a woman than if she is pierced or has tattoos.

Like you say, it is your body and your choice. I have a personal needle phobia so neither tatoos nor piercings will likely ever adorn my body. I have been pleasantly surprised at finding both on past/current lovers. The Green Googling Word-Nazi Ranger

I think it depends on WHAT it is of course. Certain tattoes scream bad things while others are jus fine u know? Piercings is the same I guess? It depends on who is judging as well no?

it certainly is your body and your choice - if it bothers someone THAT much, f**k them - i noticed your pierced nipples right away - very arousing and i told you so back then - you do with your body whatever you choose - i makes you that much more of an individual - you go girl and i'll keep watching for new postings - damn i'm happy to be in your group of friends so i get to see all the new activities - best of luck

in our opinion tattoo's and piercings are a reflection of ones self. Personally we find tattoo's and piercings a turn on when they are on women but there is a point to craziness... myself i cant justify tattooing my whole arm though on a few ladies i find it quite sexy.

I prefer the clean look, but ok with pierced ears. But nipple rings, or clitoral piercings are a definite turn off. A small tat is ok, but the ones that cover large portions of the chest, neck, arms or back wouldn't do anything for me. But then I'm old school & feel the body is beautiful just the way it is.

I'm pretty much in agreement with you, sumpinspeshal.  If you like it, then it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. I suppose there could probably be some exceptions. Say maybe someone with enough piercings they set off a metal detector at 50 paces.

Thank you all for your honesty. I have 5 tattoos that I got at different times in my life. They do not signify anything except I like them. I don't think I will get anymore but one never knows!!! I only have 1 maybe 2 that can really be seen everyday depending on what I wear. I never have had very high self esteem but for me to have gotten one on my lower back I feel that was a step forward for me because I think it is quite sexy. MY first was on my left breast when I was 18. It was the only one that was a rebellion sort of. I got it in South Dakota where I lived. I did it just before the Sturgis Bike Rally. It is a rose. The next one was not until I was 32 and it is a panther with no fear on it on my right ankle and calf. I played sports alot and it was seen all the time, maybe it was for attention...who knows!!! The next was a butterfly that is really a tiger face ( starting to see a pattern with animals and butterflies starting..lol!) on my upper left thigh. I got it when I was 36. I finally felt good enough about myself that I went for the ultimate for me and got a butterfly with tribal symbols coming off the sides on my lower back just above.... well you know!! I did it at age 42. I just recently about a month ago I guess went for the most recent one. I got a dream catcher with my birth symbol (Aries) in the middle of it on my upper right thigh. I also did 3 piercings right after the tattoo that same day. Both nipples and my naval. I always wanted to try it but never did so I said what the hell and went for it!!! I turn 46 today (April 6) and some may say it is mid-life crisis, maybe so but I say it is something I always wanted to do and as some of you have said it is just me being me. It does not change the person I am and the personality I am blessed with. I feel it adds to me........ hopefully my friends and the people I come into contact will not look at me too different. I do feel that this will be the end to my piercings and tattoos. But you never know!!! I do honestly appreciate you reading and replying no matter how you feel...THANKS!!!

I think your choice of tats is great. As are your choice of piercings. Anyone who has a problem with them is either jealous or just messed up.

I think it is your body and it is up to you, tattoos are there forever and you really need to be sure of what you want. I have seen cases where a person was kept from getting a real good and high paying job because of his tattoos. Piercings are another thing if you have them and later decide you no longer want them, most of the timeyou can take them out and in time the holes will heal. I would hate to have them on my nipples and some jerk grab them and pull hard on them. Thats just my thinking and everybody their own thoughts. By the way I have neither.

To me tattoos and piercing add color and sparkle to the body.I myself have my tongue pierced. I have 8 tattoos. I want 2 more but haven't been able to get an appointment and my time off to line up correctly to get them done. Most of them have a significant meaning to me, like my deceased father's portrait. The only time i think a tattoo is wrong is like a young lady I met had a tat on her neck done in Gaelic and she couldn't even tell if it was spelled/displayed correctly.

Me and my wife have multiple piercings and tattoos. In my personal opinion I have never seen a piercing make something look less beautiful.Good artwork can't do any damage either. It is just more permanent.

In my opinion, piercing in the genital and breast area a beautiful thing! Show openness and I with my "I" am grappling. Nipple piercing can hide under clothing or highlight with the right clothing also. With tattoos the thing looks different again, there is much on the size and on the job depends on where they are attached. Personally, I like percing better than tattoos.
