towards trust
Through the windows world moves by
inside we sit side by side
coffees cooling we wrestle words
to learn about the other's world
never met before you see
so trust must earned be
listen for the lies and omissions
are there too many extenuating conditions
madness or insanity in your eyes
do we look as if to prize
the one beside whom we sit
could we move forward a bit
sometime during our stay here
we shuffled closer a little more near
a hand was taken inside a hand
we still hold our ground and stand
a light kiss is this a plan
to gradually learn more of a man
your lips are dry and moisten quick
brush my lips with your tongue tip
after that we talk some more
feeling more confident to the core
this is our chance to full share
as on my shoulder falls your hair

seems our words are drying up
