one unaccounted
Time moves and is counted
by one who is not accounted
a love unrequited weighs heavy
and thoughts turn without levity
the entire world dims
fills with horrid things
sensual emotions stew
when distance remains to you

and how do you talk each time
to someone who seek in desire's rhyme
set arousal ticking with each word
as you consider sensual curve
and how must hide the love behind
a professional courtesy and logical mind
for drifting into passion would only
leave you where you started lonely

and if a love unrequited were accepted
how then could you lead a life neglected
to taste those lips which might to you
equal the fire Promethesus took to
gave hope and light in dark of night
the ability to shape and mould metals bright
those kisses trailing down cross neck and shoulders
flushing clean thoughts of others

unrequited becomes requited
conjure dreams of over-nighted
snuggled close and warmth shared
all those words unsaid as these lips never dared
draw along your warm flanks and taste
the delicious you and ignore time wasted
which could have been spent in kisses deep
and this dream's reward of sated sleep.
