to horizon
stretch dreams to horizons
thoughts of unrealised liaisons
place aspirations in a foreign city
if today you dress simply or pretty
wondering what weather there
up or down or coloured hair
is today for work or play
friends or colleagues to meet today
beyond horizon your life continues
as I live my own my thoughts mingle
do you think of me as you walk
interruptions in words as you talk
if those lips which purse were to be kissed
could we allow each other bliss
in distance far you live and breath
and loving warmth we seek to weave
conjure from the words exchanged
the other who until now was strange
perhaps become a friend and respect earn
as about each other together learn
one day horizon contain we too
and then each other we shall view
then perhaps share a kiss or four
desire sprouting might share more
until such day we wait and ponder
is this passing phase or is this ongoing wonder .
