Thank you Mulleen for your eloquence on this subject. America is truly effed up in their gun laws. We had an assault weapons ban until 2004 and had much fewer mass murders. The gun lobby is very powerful and have essentially bought off most of one political party here in the US...the republicans or GOP. These are the same folks that want to ban abortion. These are the same folks that could care less if poor women and children have food or shelter. They want a child born but not a child fed. The GOP is all about greed for themselves. They were against the rights of LGBT to marry by and large. While this incident was a hate crime against the LGBT, the gun violence could be against any group when a lunatic has a gun. I could go on...ranting does help a bit. The US has royally effed up in their political nominating process. The GOP actually allowed a maniac to be their nominee(Donald Trump). They did not deny the votes of the GOP. The Democratic party on the other hand has done everything in the power and cheated to install Hilary Clinton as the nominee. The collusion with the media is sickening. She is under FBI investigation for Christ's sake. It is maddening to know our President who knows well she broke the law as he is a lawyer is backing her. It is about keeping power for the established Democrats and not getting the change the other Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders would have brought. The World needs Bernie Sanders. He is not a war monger. He is an actually Jewish person who wants better treatment of Palestinians. Israel is not behind him as you an imagine. How Ironic they are backing a non Jew over a Jew. Bernie has been right on issue after issue for decades. He has a working moral compass. He is a truly public servant who cares about justice for all. There is my rant. Thank you for reading .
