Sun Still Shines
Summer is dead yet sun still shines
casting broken shadows through the drying vines
leaves of colours golden fallen off the stem
seasons have spun around back at Winter again
still I can find the Summer heat in you
and a starburst of warmth when you I view
my hands caresses your back and spine's line
with every year you mature like fine wine
the taste of your lips are summer berries soft
in their taste my eyes closed I fall and are lost
as hands trail cross your warm and wander a mile
the caresses strokes and light tugs bring forth your smile
we could all seasons have inside our warm beds
the raging passion and desire a perennial in our heads
so as one season slides into distance and fades
the way towards tomorrow and more seasons lays
in close embrace and these kisses full and true
for every season of every year is best with you.
