ignore the mess upon the floors
the piles of things on every shelf
this is my life my self
I am the person lost and found
this is me this is my ground
turn your eyes from what you can see
look deeper into the depths of me
see my light golden and angles dark
the places where life left a mark
not all scars show through
only found by knowing me knowing you
the reasons for your insomnia
an echo of some past trauma
and yet the wheels still turning
the fires of life still burning
you can find me fresh as Spring
and a tune of love still able to sing
for what was will be what will be
and new days of life forward see.
