into embrace fall

into embrace fall
Fall into your embrace pushed
by this waterfall rush of emotions
desire and trust and need and want
all combining in thoughts of you
the wonderings if and maybe
counting the hours and days between
the first time glanced the next time seen
in a moment order of world is upturned
needs of body and mind are spurned
become an astronomer obsessed with one star
wondering what you are always doing
trying to observe where you are
to attempt to plot the points of your life
as you navigate across foreground of mine
and seeing where we can meet and hold
where we might in loving trust entwine
and when the moment climatic reached
and the distance between us is breached
into your embrace I fall
flotsam from another life now gone
what was is now all that was before
and in your embrace I arise anew
to challenge savage world afresh
in partnership with you.
