tumbles of anticipation
My breath inside suddenly tumbles about
it seems a roar is building to be let out
how much longer till we meet
what will we say and do when we greet
a simple word or an embrace and a hug
holding you tight and safe and so snug
wanting to drawing you into my orbit
never wanting for a moment to release
become of a galaxy of ourselves alone
for Cupid for all past opportunities atone
haven't even stirred from receiving your note
and the words escape so I could not quote
but knowing sometime you will be waiting
seems my whole body alive celebrating
in a breath again I must be steady
even as I must go to make ready
wondering what you will wear
what colour or highlights see in your hair
tumbling thoughts so deep deep within
at occasion to be meeting you once again.
