At The Light Fall

At The Light Fall
In this light fall
light across your face
proud lips pink bright
and eyes mischievous shine
a heat of presence
of thoughts entwined
and hands grasping meet
drunk as if by wine
and kisses sensual share
in the lighted shadows
of our life hallowed
so praise your light
luminous you glow
and song of our kisses
a symphony emotional
over our bodies flows
sweet nectar of passion's kiss
a wave of rising bliss
blessed in light breaking
and the light captures
every curve and line
the waves of life
escaping you
a universe present
in our entwining
two stars collapsing
in each other's orbit
irretrievably drawn
into each others embrace
and light golden and true.

    Would that just be warming up? Such a momentary frisson but it could last
    Just long enough for a memory to implant and shine for much longer. In effect telling the ephemeral nature of a singular moment, you have failed but also won that time and memory barrier.
