eager live a life imperfect

eager live a life imperfect
Forget counting the minutes and hours
know that Death downward glowers
the time for living is not days weeks or years
no time for holding tight your fears
Time is brief from grave to birth
so make every moment be of priceless worth
as you need not live a life perfect
just make it an imperfect life worth it
head out and the world passionately grasp
let those watching at your energy gasp
we will all be dead far too long
for any to remember our life as wrong
dare live now and burn bright
use every fragile day and every steaming night
ignore scars gained from falling when running fast
drown every heartache in deeper life vast
look forward and move and devour
every minute live as full as if an hour
burn life's candle on either end
and in loving never ever pretend
for all the fakery cannot hide
one day into ground we slide
so lift your head even if full of tears
live harder as mist of sorrow clears
taste caress kiss and love chase
for life must be lived in greatest haste
for such a small thimble full we are given
let's never waste our Time in not living.
