Blossoms Across My Warm Skin
On the beach
eyes closed tight
can still feel touch of Sun
sense the glare as if
my eyes were open to the light
so warm the air
soft the beach beneath
the waves lapping lullaby
gradually I ease to sleep
and then it seems I wake
though hard to tell
for my eyes are closed
and the Sun still shines
water lapping sighs
and in my thoughts
a fresh new burst of heat
those kisses which you bring
around my neck as a lei
blossoms across my warm skin
the pink tip of tongue
such lush rich lips
all of Summer in that touch
all of tang of sea
all of you and all of me
the Sun above dims
in comparison to that kiss
or is it your shadow over me
as you bend and lips deend
in kissing warm beside the sea.
