 Expectations can set one up for disappointment. I don't know what your meetings were like, location, easy going but all that helps too. If a person will only meet in a club or bar and for drinks well maybe that is a flag for some people. The chemistry thing doesn't always jump out and grab you. Have you ever met someone who really clicked with you on first meeting but then offer time you got to know them and they were less appealing? All I'm stating is obvious I think but sometimes one meeting does not a hookup make.

Definitely have met several that I have thought were wonderful. Continue to be friends with and without benefits with most of the men that I have connected with. I do usually try to meet anyone new in a place were we can talk without yelling at each other. My "go to" places are most often a coffee type shop, patio or wine bar.
I think we have all met someone that we loose interest in after spending extended time with. My original blog was also intended to see if most people part ways or just have sex for the physical act of doing so. Never contacting each other again.

 It's hit or miss on most adult dating sites. I have met some nice people..some never show up to meet...and yes some I would meet, have drink and that's were it ended. Great Post!!

 I do like that for the most part (for those who post and read profiles) you can mostly tell who is presenting themselves as factual and open to meetings. Naturally we all like to put on our best "show" as to attract what we are ultimately looking for. As several of you have stated, here - at least, we have a starting point and know some of the issues, interest and desires.
