Holiday Chaos. A Poem
Holiday Chaos. A Poem Beautiful chaos A description of The Holidays Family and friends Getting together Making wonderful memories. Hugs and kisses Well wishes Exchanging gifts If a person is forgotten Have handy Some gift cards Or scratch tickets. Beautiful chaos All in good fun Merriment abounds Christmas music In the background. Some reminiscing Of Christmas' past Hoping the spirits Of loved ones Somehow take notice That they are missed. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

Hi yesmamallthetime. thanks for posting... I don't know that I would use the word chaos when describing christmas or thanksgiving holidays... the goings to and from... with all the people shopping... I can see that... but... for me... these holidays make me stop and smell the roses... take that time to reminisce... tell people how I feel about them... let them know that I'm thinking of them... and, I thank them for sharing time with me... I always tell people that I hope that this year is the year that we are not exchanging gifts... and, most are quick to agree... I would rather hug someone I care about... then have a gift... like my firsts with lovers... those happy memories that I have with friends and family... keep me going during the valleys in life... and... they make me look forward to the next peak... I do like the poem(s) including this one... this one could ease it's way here... Jim Croce - "Photographs And Memories" Photographs and memories Christmas cards you sent to me All that I have are these To remember you Memories that come at night Take me to another time Back to a happier day When I called you mine But we sure had a good time When we started way back when Morning walks and bedroom talks Oh how I loved you then Summer skies and lullabies Nights we couldn't say good-bye And of all of the things that we knew Not a dream survived Photographs and memories All… To leave private messages, please use my confidential mailbox at my blog: Good luck!!!
