who am I
I don't know
because I
am lost
in this world
who do I
present myself
to be
who I really
am is
beyond your
understanding
I am different
from the rest
I want
something more
than your normal
worldly things
of this earth
something beyond
your way of thinking
so how do I proceed
with my existence
how do I
continue to live
I don't know
I am lost
in this world
on this planet
you call earth
this third stone
from the sun
I culminate
a concoction
to exist here
to look normal
I look at them
but they are
from somewhere
else unknown

 I am the very model of the modern major general!
I know all sorts of information: animal, and vegetable, and mineral.
I know the kings of England, and all matters quite historical,
from Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical.

Wow, what an ego trip, thanks to Gilbert & Sullivan, over a century ago.
