I still remain in awe So you ask yourself in awe of what perhaps, well maybe one percent of you do that. And the remainder return to updating their canned responses, which oddly did not yield any results after the last edit.  So where does this awe emanate? Simply, from what appears to be the absolute refusal to extrapolate and learn.  |

I've met a lot of people who are willfully ignorant. Ignorance itself is surely no crime but to be willfully so is just stupid. Curiosity has to be nurtured from an early age. Kids are naturally curious and if encouraged to chase their curiosity they will amaze us all. My folks had a LOT of faults, but they prompted me to be curious. They read to me, taught me and questioned me. Sometimes I felt like I was being interrogated! The worm turned when I began questioning back in a serious way. So, yeah, I'm still awed. The world is a shit place on lots of days, but it's still full of wonders and that makes it worth living in. I hope you'll set up a private mailbox.
