*Crazy* has no timeline!

A friend of mine was chatting with a guy she met (on Passion) for close to a year. They became pretty close, in a virtual sense.... messaging, camming, talking on the phone sometimes, etc. He appeared to be, in all senses of the word... normal. He finally came to visit her...having a drive of about 8 hours. Now, to me.. THAT was the first sign of crazy, however to her... she was excited! They spent a weekend together that she defined as *amazing* and couldn't wait to see him again. After he left it's as if a switch was flipped. He became possessive, jealous and even threatening. Here's where the *crazy* became apparent to her! After over a year of "great" it took a while for her to get over it... sooooo.... crazy has no timeline.

I just heard that some restaurants are now offering 10% off your bill if you keep your cell phones pocketed. Can you imagine having to actually converse with the person/people you're sharing a dinner table with? Having that face to face interaction without the distraction of that glowing cell phone light reflecting off their faces...gazing down every now and again to check messages or FB statuses..... dropping that instant gratification of knowing where everyone else is, what they're doing etc... and actually paying attention to the person you're with! FANTASTIC IDEA!

Life has tossed me bone in that now I find myself having plenty of free time to do whatever I like, whenever I like, and with whom ever I like. Do you find yourself in the same boat?
