The average age of the military man is 19 years.
He is a short haired, tight-muscled who,under normal circumstances is considered by society as half man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears, not old enough to buy a beer, but old enough to die for his country. He never really cared much for work and he would rather wax his own car than wash his father's, but he has never collected unemployment either.
He's a recent High School graduate; he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away. He listens to rock and roll or hip-hop or or jazz or swing and a 155mm howitzer.
He is 10 or 15 pounds lighter now than when he was at home because he is working or fighting from before dawn to well after dusk. He has trouble spelling, thus letter writing is a pain for him, but he can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark. He can recite to you the omenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if he must.
He digs foxholes and latrines and can apply first aid like a professional. He can march until he is told to stop,or stop until he is told to march. He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation, but he is not without spirit or individual dignity. He is self-sufficient.He has two sets of fatigues: he washes one and wears the other. He keeps his canteens full and his feet dry.
He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never to clean his rifle. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes, and fix his own hurts. If you're thirsty, he'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food. He'll even split his ammunition
with you in the midst of battle when you run low.
He has learned to use his hands like weapons and weapons like they were his hands. He can save your life - or take it, because that is his job.
He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay, and still find ironic humor in it all.
He has seen more suffering and death than he should have in his short lifetime.
He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and is unashamed..
He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to 'square-away ' those around him who haven't bothered to stand, remove their hat, or even stop talking. In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful.
Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom. Beardless or not, he is not a boy. He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years.
He has asked nothing in return, except our friendship and understanding.
Remember him, always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood.
Now we even have women over there in danger, doing their part in this tradition of going to War when our nation calls us to do so.
As you go to bed tonight, remember this shot. . ...
A short lull, a little shade and a picture of loved ones in their helmets.
'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'
When you view this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our ground troops in Afghanistan , sailors on ships, and airmen in the air, and for those in Iraq , Afghanistan and all foreign countries.
Thank u for all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Coastguardsman, Marine, or Airman, prayer is the very best one

Hi All,
I had a MRI Thursday and saw the Ortho Doc, The Good News is that all the ligaments in my knee are intact and are stable, the slight tear to my MCL Will heal without surgery.
Bad News is that I have a almost complete tear to my Quad. Muscle tendon with a tear to the Quad. Muscle as well.
I'm going to be out of work for at least 3-4 months and I have to be on crutches the whole time so my activites are going to be very limited until I am healed.

Motorcycle Accident

Hi All,
On sunday morning the 18th of April at 0115hrs, as I was on my way home from work, I was involved in a Accident with another car driven by a 16 year old, he made a left turn from the west bound road he was on into my lane(I was East bound) There is more to that but I won't bore everyone with the gory details.
I was taken by ambulance to the area Trauma Center because everyone on scene thought I had a broken Femur (Thigh Bone) But to everyones amazement I didn't break any bones.
I owe my life to the helmet I was wearing and the fact that I was going just below the speed limit for the road I was on.
My motorcycle(Scooter) looks like it's a total loss but thats up to the Insurance company to decide.
I am doing ok but will be off work until further notice.
I will be updating fiends here when I know more.

This is probably the best e-mail I've seen in a long, long time.
The following has been attributed to State Representative
Mitchell Kaye from GA. This guy should run for President one
day....

ARTICLE I:
You do not have the right to a
new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More

possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the

where you still won't have the right to a big screen
color TV or a life of leisure.
ARTICLE VIII:
You do not have the right to a
job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly
help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take
advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational

OK all,
I am on here to have fun and to meet interesting people, and maybe even have sex with the HOT lady or 2 or 3 I may meet along the way.
I am friends with alot of people, for alot of differant reasons.
If one of my friends has a issue/drama/problem with another one of my friends KEEP ME OUT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't and will not take sides in issues/drama/problems I did not cause or is not involved in.
I am handling alot of things right now to worry about all my other friends getting along with each other.
I am me, I don't try and be someone I am not, I am Just ME like me or hate me I don't care.
So If you still want to be a friend of mine, lets be friends, If you don't like who I am friends with, and you don't want to be my friend anymore, well It's your loss, not mine.
Like I said earlier, I am here to Have fun and meet people if you can't or don't know how to have fun or will meet people you have chatted or emailed on this site, well I'm sorry.

Dear Mr. President,
Please find below my suggestion for fixing America's economy.
Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.
You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force.
- Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:
1) They MUST retire.. Forty million job openings
- Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered
- Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage
- Housing Crisis fixed.
It can't get any easier than that!
P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes...

Military Rules for Non-Military Personnel
"Dear Civilians, "We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation have many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military. For those of you who can't join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas where we would like your assistance:
(1) The next time you see an adult talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem---kick their ass.
(2) When you witness, firsthand, someone burning the American Flag in protest---kick their ass.
(3) Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while a disabled veteran kicks their ass.
(4) (GUYS) If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDUs), telling others that you used to be "Special Forces," and collecting GI Joe memorabilia, might have been okay when you were seven years old. Now, it will only make you look stupid and get your ass kicked.
(5) Next time you come across an Air Force member, do not ask them, "Do you fly a jet?" Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves an ass-kicking ( are exempt).
(6) If you witness someone calling the US Coast Guard 'non-military', inform them of their mistake---and kick their ass.
(7) Next time Old Glory (the US flag) prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your heart. Quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her---of course, failure to do either of those could earn you a severe ass-kicking.
( Don't try to discuss politics with a military member or a veteran. We are Americans, and we all bleed the same, regardless of our party affiliation. Our Chain of Command is to include our Commander-In-Chief (C in C). The President (for those who didn't know) is our C in C regardless of political party. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all those representatives meet. All we know is that when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, they call upon the military to go straighten it out. If you keep asking us the same stupid questions repeatedly, you will get your ass kicked!
(9) 'Your mama wears combat boots' never made sense to me---stop saying it! If she did, she would most likely be a vet and therefore, could kick your ass!
(10) Bin Laden and the Taliban are not Communists, so stop saying 'Let's go kill those Commies!' And stop asking us where he is? Crystal balls are not standard issue in the military. That reminds me---if you see anyone calling those damn psychic , let me know, so I can go kick their ass.
(11) 'Flyboy' (Air Force), 'Jarhead' (Marines), 'Grunt' (Army), 'Squid' (Navy), 'Puddle Jumpers' (Coast Guard), etc., are terms of endearment we use describing each other. Unless you are a service member or vet, you have not earned the right to use them. That could get your ass kicked.
(12) Last, but not least, whether or not you become a member of the military, support our troops and their families. Every Thanksgiving and religious holiday that you enjoy with family and friends, please remember that there are literally thousands of sailors and troops far from home wishing they could be with their families. Thank God for our military and the sacrifices they make every day. Without them, our country would get its ass kicked."

FINALLY...THE $64,000 QUESTION WAS ASKED...
ON "ABC-TV" (BETTER KNOWN AS THE ALL BARRACK CHANNE
DURING THE "NETWORK SPECIAL ON HEALTH CARE" OBAMA WAS ASKED:
"MR. PRESIDENT WILL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GIVE UP YOUR CURRENT
HEALTH CARE PROGRAM AND JOIN THE NEW 'UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE
PROGRAM' THAT THE REST OF US WILL BE ON????"
THERE WAS A STONE SILENCE AS OBAMA IGNORED THE QUESTION AND
CHOSE NOT TO ANSWER IT!!!
IN ADDITION, A NUMBER OF SENATORS WERE ASKED THE SAME QUESTION
AND THERE RESPONSE WAS, "WE WILL THINK ABOUT IT."

I Take My Stand !!!!
AS I PASS THIS ON TO MANY IN MY ADDRESS BOOK I AM AWARE OF THE FACT THAT SOME DAY I MAY NOT HAVE THE FREEDOM TO DO SO. VERY SCARY THOUGHT.
I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.
Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I
AM NOT uniting behind Obama!
I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT
that is it.
I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that He is a one-term President!
Why am I doing this?
It is because I do not share Obama's vision or Value system
for America;
I do not share his Abortion beliefs;
I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth;
I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+(the ceiling has been changed three times since August);
I do not share his view that America is Arrogant;
I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation; (THIS JUST SHOWS HE CERTAINLY ISN'T UP ON HIS AMERICAN HISTORY! AND NOT A CHRISTIAN!)
I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;
I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than American Citizens who need help; (NO WAY, JOSE!)
I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land; (GIMME A BREAK!)
I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least what I think his beliefs are);
I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America;
I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East, and certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes and states such as Iran..
Bottom line, my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my God to do what is Right!
For eight ( years, the Liberals in our Society, led by
numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!
They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and
their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country!
They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!
They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years;
they have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country!
They have made every effort to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our Society!
They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code; they have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech!
Unite behind Obama? Never!
I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!
(and No, I do not believe Obama is evil)
PRESIDENT BUSH made mistakes during his Presidency, (EVERY PRESIDENT DOES)however; I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!
Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and "his goals for America."
I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country!! Any more compromise is more defeat!
I pray that the results of his election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-God crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America !
