Introduction
standard members can contact me...lets see..I'm short and fat..i smoke, I don't drink, i dont like snow, i dont like being cold, i like going out for a meal, but doesnt have to be fancy, i like dogs and cats and kids, ive been told i have a warped sense of humour, i like to cook but am not overly good at it, like to travel by car, but i dont drive..my music taste covers pretty much all genres, I can be opinionated, i hate arguing over trivial things, while I'm not a pushover, I will back down rather than continue an argument.
I am financially secure and dont need a sugar daddy nor a leech.
I absolutely hate ethnic and racial jokes, and the people who tell them, I find them totally repugnant.
Fat jokes and other references to a persons size generally indicates a pea sized brain in the teller. On the other hand if I say I'm 60. fat and fantasmagorically perfect...who are you to argue that statement. I'm very comfortable with myself, and if you arent comfortable with my size then its best you go away now ...
I think the greatest gift I've been given by the powers that be, is the ability to laugh.
Particularly to laugh at myself, my idiocyncrasies, my moods( god help us) ! my eccentricities..hey even I'll admit to being strange and somewhat unconventional
I love to laugh, laughing makes me feel good, lifts whatever black cloud thas hanging over my head, makes my worries and woes' disappear, at least for a time, and lets face it...when I'm happy..the folks around me tend to be happier as well..but most of all i enjoy laughing at me.
I've seen some people be offended when i make fun of myself, telling me to stop putting myself down..but my thought is...if i can't laugh at me...i have no right to laugh at you..
I know there are people who refuse to laugh at themselves simply because they feel their peers will lose respect for them....well pffffffffffft... I'm more inclined to respect someone even more if they can poke fun at themselves.
Its very cruel to laugh at someone who is insecure or uncomfortable with themselves, but when you joke about your own absurdities, its safe territory. No one gets hurt, and often you brighten someone's day with the self deprecating humour
Of course, nobody wants to follow a complete goofball, but some occasional self-directed playfulness isn't going to make people think you're an idiot. ( well not usually anyway ) More likely, they'll appreciate you as someone who's not a pompous bore. You are comfortable with yourself. Enjoy the person you are, and be brave enough to admit your personality quirks. After all as long as your laughing at yourself..you will never run out of material
I don't think there is such a thing as an ideal person. Sometimes the best relationships come in the stangest packages.
Quite honestly I like tall men, big in body, spirit and heart.
A 'jack of all trades' who doesnt need a piece of paper to prove he's good at what he does.
A man who willingly helps his friends and neighbours without a lot of fuss.
A man who is emotionally secure, not afraid to laugh at himself, not afraid to be caught watching saturday morning cartoons with grandkids or even by himself
Communication is a big thing with me.. I have many skills, but mind reading isnt one of them.
I'm not particularly 'outdoorsy', but would tag along occasionally if you are.
I'm open to just about any sort of entertainment..drag races, car shows, whatever interests you, to a certain degree. .If I checked out your profile and didnt comment, its not because i wasnt interested..I'm 'shy'.
.well i'm done now..if you need to know more..ask me
