On this site, a hookup is expected. If a person is hoping for more than a hookup, that's just weird. There are other kinds of sites to fulfill that goal. Go to those sties.

How Long Before You Meet? ..... Today or tomorrow. The way I see it, if you are online to find someone [sometimes using up a couple hours], then you have time to go out and meet someone for 20 or 30 minutes.

You strike up a conversation emailing or text, or even talk on the phone. .... No. You want to have a conversation? You do it in person.

If someone cannot find time for a casual get together ... They would be wasting your time.

 Always hoping for more. If they
haven't lost interest in the usual 2 to 3
minute window. I'd find out if
that's all their after, if yes, I'd
thank them and move on.

 I would hope to meet within a week or two, but I would always defer to the lady, and when she feels comfortable doing so.

 Depends on the schedule but if both parties are close by, then it shouldn't take too long. Less than a week just to meet in public and see if there is a spark or not.

Who could be interested in someone who does not consider themselves interesting? We tend to believe what we read (for example, men responding to hot, horny women 1/2 their age.). If we read someone does not appeal to everyone else, we pretty much figure maybe everyone else knows something.

Generally speaking I don't go into a meet expecting a hook up. But, since this is a meeting/dating site with a more up front attitude regarding sex I am always hopeful for more than just a date.

Subject to a few exceptions . . . IME, if you don’t get a local woman’s phone number within a couple days (a week max) of contact here you probably won’t end up meeting. If you don’t meet her within a week or so (2 weeks max) of getting her phone number you probably won’t end up meeting.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
