I have often given diamonds, like flowers, just because women like them. I think I am going to fur. Maybe because I know the only extrensic value is because of restricted mining by DeBeers. The real truth is a diamond is just a rock that could be devalued in a heartbeat if DeBeers didn't own all the mining rights and regulated it's supply. More importantly are the "blood diamonds" where people are exploited to dig for the diamonds in Zimbabwe, Liberia and Angola. Not meant to damper your sweet Christmas spirit but people can ask for "conflict free diamond". It will have a certificate.
