Unavailable profiles

Can anyone suggest any reason why someone would view your profile and hotlist you, then when you try and view their profile it is unavailable?

Would you do this?

 If you caught their profile at a time they were editing it and it was pending, it'll show as unavailable. Like the magic 8 ball says, check again later.

 There are several options: fakers, bots, or simply site gremlins. It has happened to many of us

 Have no Idea why they do that. there are a lot of fake profiles out there.
why do they put Location of one state?, when they are actually in a different state or country.

In a way I understand them put a different location on the profile to protect themselves from people who may know them. I don't think it is sensible.

 Between the time that they hotlisted your profile and you went to check out theirs they got reported as a scam
Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.
