My Thanksgiving !!!

I know a family of 3. The mom and her two sons. she is a very hard working lady. I sometimes feel so bad for her. cause I know that she goes to work even when she is sick. just to provide for her . she is a single mom. her husband passed away 2 years ago. he had an stroke. she herself has a lot of health problems. diabetes being one of them. her two sons are 18 and 20. the 20 year old start it working not long ago to help out. the 18 still in school. they are honest wonderful people. it breaks my heart to see their limitations. a very humble family.

I always do my best to help her out. often I collect clothes from my male friends. clothes and shoes for her sons. 3 months ago I gave them 2 big boxes full of stuff that I got for them, they loved everything. My roommate plays a big part in all that, cause he has lots and lots of clothes and shoes, sometimes when he is cleaning his closet, I make a box full of things, just from stuff that he gives me for them, everything in good shape. my roommate family has money, so he pretty much has anything and everything in large quantities. luckily my roommate has a good heart. he pass me a lot stuff for them, cause he know their situation. I have told him about it. he gave shirts, tee shirts, belts and 2 winter jackets for them. also gave me a nice big flat TV cause his parents gave him a new huge smart TV. so he gave me the old one for them. She doesn't know yet that I have all this stuff for them. will make it a surprised.

I know how she is struggling these days. I told my roommate I wanted to invite them over for thanksgiving. cause she rents a basement and doesn't really have the commodities there. My roommate bough me a big turkey for them. and he agreed to go to his parents so that they can come over here. I will buy the rest of the stuff for the dinner and do the cooking.

I told her my roommate was going to be at his parents house from Wednesday Night to Sunday for thanksgiving. That her and her 2 sons were more than welcome to come over and spent thanksgiving dinner here with me. she was very excited. she said she was gonna come in early to help me cook. I will go pick her up Thursday morning. Her sons will join later in the day once food is ready.

She doesn't know about the stuff that I been collecting for her, especially about the TV cause I know she doesn't have one. she is such a wonderful lady. I wish there is more that I could do to help her. breaks my heart to see how she struggles to keep her family afloat. unfortunately is not much more that I can do. I couldn't do what she does. she is a very strong woman. she is not even taking good care of herself. sick or not, she works. I can see how she is giving her life just to get her 2 sons ready for their future. I hope they appreciated and help her out one day when she can't do it no more. cause I don't think she will have the energy in a couple more years.
