Fish Oil?

Anyone else take a Fish Oil supplement? I was running to the bathroom all day yesterday and last night and now again this morning. The only thing different in my diet is this fish oil supplement that I am taking to help bring down my cholesterol. Could this be the problem. I can't leave the house! I felt horrible yesterday. I have shit to do and these are the last few days of my vacation. I do not want to spend them inside. Maybe I should take it every other day. IDK

Oh, for last year's physical, I was determined to get my cholesterol in the green. I use a calorie counter, FatSecret, and with it, I track fiber. I read that fiber makes it harder for the body to absorb fats, which I hoped would get my cholesterol in the green. I make sure I get 25 grams daily. I eat 2 bananas, 2 apples, ole high-fiber wraps, and a baked potato in the microwave 3 or 4 times a week.

Boom. Cholesterol was good. Kept it up for another year, and cholesterol was good again this year.

Like you, I have heart troubles in my family, so I'm trying to stay healthy.

Hope this helps.

I started taking them 2 months ago to improve my HDL and my HDL/LDL ratio. Decided to take a pill about as often as I would eat fish, so I take them M,W,F.

For the first time in my life my HDL was good and so was my ratio.

I'll keep taking it. I experienced zero side effects, but I'm not taking very much.

I've been taking them for about 10 years. I used to take 2 in the morning and 2 at night. Then a report cam out that they raised the PSA level in men, so I just take the morning 2 now. Never had any side effects, though

hi ..you may be taking to big a dosage. you should let your body become accustomed to it before increasing dosage.Id prefer to use coconut oils...or mct (medium chain Triglycerides)....has a lot of benefits including lowering cholesterol...but again you need to start with a tables spoon...then work your way up....they filter through your liver...and overload can cause the shits...google it..
