why this Im sucks Why does the Im work some times and most times works good for shit just wondering if only I has this problem. All so noticed that every time they change something it gets worse. |

No it's not just you. Sadly, IM has a long long history on malfunctioning.

Its a joke of a system and I find it only works 15% of the time for me

Do you IM via phone or computer? When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I quit using it a long time ago...It really does suck.. You can't expect to be Old & Wise..If You were never Young & Crazy!!!

Blogged about this very subject myself. Was looking for a definitive answer to what appears to be happening, but it seems so random I don't know if anyone knows for sure what should happen.

Yes, the IM and cam are very spotty here. Cam tends to freeze a lot at times and IM is hit or miss if anything goes through. They are terrible at keeping things working here.

I literally just lost someone's interest bitching about this. And whoever said how it works for all the scam accounts, fucking spot on observation. To make the experience even more awesome, consider the fact that one of the signs that you miight be dealing with a scammer (aside from them immediately asking you "where exactly are you located?") is that they try to get you to shift to another means of communication other than Passion. Well, im nor a scammer, but if i happen to actuslly get a message through to someone, who is newer to Passion and using it on their phone, and they want to send _you_ a picture that isn't already uploaded and approved, to do this you either have to log out for a moment, or they have to do the full web version mode on their phone (or I suppose straight up use a computer if they have one while still chatting via their phone. Otherwise I'm sure some cookie conflict arises and it doesn't know what protocol to send new incoming messages to, basically ending communication with them from then on (cuz who doesn't love it when you send someone you're flirting with a picture of yourself, and it results in yiu never hearing from them again?). The Android app was written for Android 6, i believe, so you know..... Current.... Another hint: in your profile page, when you're in edit mode, they have four offered "fill in your screenname On this messenging system" fields. Only one of them even exists anymore. Check them out, it's laughable were it not for the fact that people pay good money for this site.
