Let's make a follow-up

I appreciate the responses to my last post. I wholeheartedly agree that free gold is earned and not just given but let's analyze what that takes. If your profile gains traction this site gives you free membership to entice you to stay on because members want to interact with you. Much like YouTube and Instagram pay members who have large numbers of followers. The problem is that due to the ratios here, just having an f designation in your profile, in a matter of days, you can score free membership just for being online. I still see female profiles being made and the intros say, "I'm a guy I just made this for the free membership."

So before you bash me for being down on the system, please acknowledge that I am playing by the rules to the best of my abilities and not exploiting it by pretending to be something I'm not to circumvent the system. I'm just trying to point out that to stay competitive and relevant as it once was, Passion should change it's model for sourcing revenue.

And as far as credit monitoring, that is far from reliable. It's a nice first line of defense, but even that guy who owns lifelock who gave out his ssn to prove the company could protect your information has had his identity stolen multiple times since. I welcome any comments and criticism. Everything has been very enlightening so far.

 God how did this turn into a political debate. I'm sure the baby boomers on this site don't have to worry about paying for anything with their retirement checks, their 401k's, social security and possibly even pensions plus all they have earned. Almost all of which this person might not ever see in his life thanks to their living and working so long and monopolizing valuable jobs from later generations and bleeding the social security pool dry. So before you bash him for playing within the rules and trying to make this a political statement, try not rubbing your own privilege in his face.
